Launchpad: 20 bass-heavy tracks to kickstart your day

The Launchpad is a biweekly series showcasing hot new music hand-selected by our staff. The tracks in these curated playlists come from both underground and mainstream artists that we love. If you’d like to see your music featured in the Launchpad, you can submit it for consideration here.

The latest in our music discovery series is a massive playlist of rap, trap, grime, and bass music. Kicking off the list is Apashe’s “The Landing”. In between choral elements and classical refrains, the producer has layered trappy elements and a fiery rap from Wasiu.

Dvble Trvble’s “OG” also makes an appearance here, though you may better recognize the track from its surprising appearance at this year’s presidential debate.

We’ve also featured Loudpvck & Nghtmre‘s “Click Clack” alongside Shaun Frank’s vocal heavy, bass-tinged “Let You Get Away,” in addition to future bass vibes on G. Know’s “High”.

Finally, Parri$ channels her inner M.I.A, rapping amidst a sea of impeccably clad backup dancers in the frantastically freakish video for “Fiyah”.
