The M Machine announce new album ‘Glare’
It’s been over three years since The M Machine completed their groundbreaking debut, Metropolis, which arrived in the form of two EPs in 2013. In the time since, the group have experienced dramatic changes, from the departure of Andy Coenen, to the significant stylistic shift of their Just Like EP.
Now, however, The M Machine have finally announced their new album Glare, due for release in 2017. The LP will arrive on Mat Zo’s independent imprint Mad Zoo.
Ahead of the release, The M Machine took to the airwaves of Best Frequency Forever to preview some tracks in a two hour mix. Amid selections from Little Dragon, Bonobo and more, The M Machine debut eight of their new album tracks. From the initial selections, Glare appears to take a more vocal, indie direction in comparison to the darker, cinematic grandeur of Metropolis.
