Shirtless man screaming ‘Less Donald Trump, More Techno Music’ turned into actual techno song
Back in February, a cheeky video surfaced of a New Yorker by the name of Patrick McCann, who, while shirtless on the subway, began infectiously chanting “Less Donald Trump, more techno music!” The video became an instant viral hit, making its way across social media throughout the weekend. The only thing missing was its corresponding techno remix.
As it happened, McCann had already made a full edition of the track back in February, and was shooting a music video for the aforementioned clip in the subway the day he was captured on film and catapulted into viral territory. The resulting video resonated with one impassioned YouTube user and electronic aficionado known as Mr. Finn who decided to re-work the brief clip into his own techno version.
He’s since uploaded his version onto his page as a one-minute video, muddling McCann’s statement into bouts of eerie white noise and bass-laden kicks. View the remix above and head to Patrick McCann’s Facebook page for the full original version.
