Aphex Twin shares new original, ‘tnodvood104’
Nearly a week after his first live US performance in over 8 years, Aphex Twin has shared his newest original track, titled “tnodvood104.” The ambient single has been uploaded to his SoundCloud page with a “#voodoo” tag, foretelling its ominous nature.
“tnodvood104” embodies a minimal sound with light percussions, breezy chimes, and a pulsating drum line. A humming chorus adds a menacing touch, pushing the song along the same tempo until it finishes quietly, like a faded whisper.
Aphex Twin, who remerged in 2014 with Syro after a decade-long hiatus, has not yet announced additional US tour dates; however, fans can look forward to his upcoming performances at festivals like Barcelona’s Primavera Sound and its Portugal edition, as well as London’s Field Day.
