deadmau5’s newest supercar has been unveiled

Deadmau5 is a man of many interests. He is, of course, one the biggest electronic acts in the world but has also branched off into teaching, self-criticism, and itchy Twitter fingers. His most visible hobby beyond production, however, is his affinity for automobiles. The Canadian superstar launched his Coffee Run series, bringing along other electronic artists for conversation in one of his impressive cars, and in 2014 entered his iconic Purrari into the dubiously legal Gumball 3000 rally.

Now the producer will soon have another addition to his already vast fleet. Deadmau5 was selected as one of 500 buyers who would be allowed to purchase a 2017 Ford GT. The supercar is fast and mean, built specifically to meet manufacturing standards necessary for the car to race in the WeatherTech Sports Car Championship. It’s also a beauty to look at and likely to make an appearance in upcoming editions of the mau5’s coffee run series.
