It looks like HDYNATION is in need of a new leader. Trap’s original pioneers, Flosstradamus, who first established themselves with an anthemic remix of Major Lazer‘s “Original Don,” have just announced their indefinite split.

One half of the duo, Josh Young, took to Instagram to announce his split from Curt Cameruci to pursue his side project Me2. It is still unclear whether Cameruci will continue under the Flosstradamus banner.

The split comes as a shock to longtime Floss fans, especially after the runaway success of their most recent tour and the launch or their brand new label — not to mention the movement they created in electronic dance music.

Update: Curt from Flosstradamus has confirmed that he will continue the project in Young’s absence.
