Watch Aphex Twin’s first US performance in 8 years
After an eight-year hiatus, Aphex Twin has brought his live show back to the United States. The British legend made his return at Houston’s Day For Night festival.
Enterprising fans, acutely aware that they were witnessing history, made sure to record numerous clips from Richard D. James performance. While certainly paling in comparison to witnessing the spectacle live, given the scarcity of Aphex Twin shows on this side of the Atlantic, the videos will undoubtedly provide a welcome glimpse for fans.
Even more intriguingly, James was also selling a mysterious record at his merchandise table — perhaps an unannounced follow up to Cheetah, released earlier this year.
