Four or more victims allegedly dead following shootings on final night of BPM festival [Breaking]
Urgent news is afoot at Mexico’s BPM festival. A gunman has opened fire at Blue Parrot nightclub’s Elrow party in Playa Del Carmen, reportedly killing 4-5 attendees and wounding many more. Further reports are developing concerning a shooting at the Jungle’s closing party. Though details are sparse regarding the attacks, there is thought to be a possible correlation with local cartel battles

If you are currently at BPM festival, please stay inside. Dancing Astronaut will continue to provide updates as more information becomes available.
Update: Sources are currently reporting that 100% of the victims of the Blue Parrot shooting were civilians and/or tourists.
Update 2: Attendees at The Jungle closing party are reporting that shots were not fired in the venue, which was abruptly shut down following reports of the Blue Parrot attack. BPM has shut down all parties as police investigations are underway.
