Unlike Pluto tackles Pegboard Nerds, NGHTMRE and Krewella with re-work of ‘Superstar’
Unlike Pluto’s come up in 2016 has been well above average. The talented producer took no time enrapturing the dance world with productions oozing in smooth bass and catchy hooks, which soon after led to signing onto behemoth imprints such as Mad Decent and Monstercat.
His latest endeavor comes in the form of a remix to “Superstar,” which features Krewella’s vocals over an electrifying bass foundation put forth by Pegboard Nerds and NGHTMRE. One might feel intimidated to reformulate a song by such prolific producers, but Unlike Pluto demonstrates confidence and finesse in his attempt at bringing value to the original. He lightens up the atmosphere by replacing robotic synths with airy ones, which gives the listener a sense of floating when paired with Krewella’s vocals. Given the positive response thus far, the edit will go down as yet another fine addition to Unlike Pluto’s popular catalog.
