Watch Marshmello’s helmet being cut open to reveal its secret contents

Breakout future bass superstar marshmello has been creating waves in the EDM industry since he first burst onto the scene. His funky style, coupled with a mysterious back story and not-so-well hidden identity, has helped him rack over a quarter of a billion views on his YouTube videos; not to mention over 15 million plays on Soundcloud.

One of the essential components of his rapid rise to fame is his trademark marshmallow shaped helmet. So it is unsurprising that a whole host of people, including YouTube sensations ‘What’s inside’ have been trying incessantly to get their hands on an authentic piece. In the video below, the father and son duo managed to get an early version of the symbolic helmet from the DJ himself, and dissect it to reveal what the components inside the helmet.
