Axwell and Ingrosso’s latest collaboration sent shockwaves through India when the duo debuted it a Sunburn Music Festival, Asia’s largest EDM event. Now officially released and officially titled, “I Love You” may be the pair’s most powerful and evocative track since their Swedish House Mafia days. An eerily familiar string section (The Verve’s “Bittersweet Symphony” anyone?) kicks off the duo’s latest collaboration with Los Angeles-based hip hop phenom. A blend of orchestral elements, dubby bass lines, soaring R&B vocals, and Ink’s silky smooth flows all work together with impeccable ease. Testament to both producers’ sonic versatility, “I Love You” is a sharp but welcome stylistic departure for the progressive house icons.
