FORM Arcosanti returns for fourth year with Skrillex, Solange, James Blake and more
FORM Arcosanti is an event unlike many others. Curated from the ground up by OWSLA quartet Hundred Waters, the gathering is an eye-opening departure from the typical music festival experience. Perhaps more appropriately categorized as an artistic confluence of sorts, FORM returns to the high Arizona desert for its fourth edition, and this year, Hundred Waters have constructed the event’s biggest lineup to date. Solange, James Blake, and Father John Misty will make their Arcosanti debuts, along with Tycho and lyricist Noname.
Thundercat, How to Dress Well, and Moses Sumney return for this year’s edition of FORM, with Sumney assisting with curation duties in 2017 after a moving debut at the festival last year. Notably, Skrillex‘s name has appeared on what seems to be one of his first bookings of the year, which isn’t a major massive-scale festival, but rather an intimately secluded art showcase. As always, Hundred Waters will also perform at this year’s event, premiering new music in front of a live FORM crowd. This year the festival has also partnered with environmentalist organization Pathways to Paris, and Saint Heron for an artist interview series.
The free-by-application camping experience is set to kick off May 12th in Arizona, and if Hundred Waters’ last three editions tell us anything, there’s much more to come.
