Illenium showcases his favorite tracks before festival season in new Orbit playlist

Illenium is arguably at the top of the future bass game. The Colorado-based prodigy has carved his own niche in the genre with the grandiose synths and theatrical drums of his stellar debut album, as well as his hugely popular remixes of Flume and The Chainsmokers.

With festival season looming on the horizon, Illenium has taken over our Orbit series to clue fans in on his favorite tracks at the moment ahead of some of his biggest performances to date at events like Shaky Beats and Bonnaroo.

The playlist obviously leans heavily toward future bass with San Holo’s “Light” and Dabin & Koven’s “Revenant” among its highlights. However, the producer diversifies the collection as well, with downtempo selections like Autograf’s remix of Clean Bandit’s “Rockabye,” Louis The Child’s “Love Is Alive,” and, of course, the What So Not x Skrillex x RL Grime super collaboration, “Waiting.”

Stream Illenium’s Orbit playlist below and be sure to follow Dancing Astronaut’s Orbit series for brand new artist playlists.
