RAC wins Grammy for his remix of ‘Tearing Me Up’ by Bob Moses

Bob Moses’ hit single “Tearing Me Up” from their highly-regarded debut album Days Gone By turned the duo into veritable superstars, dominating the radio and calling attention to their excellence. An equally adept RAC was one of many providing his take on it, standing out among the rest to win this year’s Grammy for Best Remixed Recording.

The Oregon-based producer, who was also nominated in 2016 for his rework of “Say My Name” by Odesza, took a subtle approach in his interpretation of “Tearing Me Up.” Enhanced guitars pair with a delectable bassline to result in an new track enjoyable in any setting and enough energy to invigorate the listeners.

RAC beats out a list of heavy contenders, including a Timo Maas and James Teej collaboration, as well as Kaskade and Lipless’ remix of “Only” by Ry X. The artist joins The Chainsmokers as a Grammy Award-winning artist in 2017, following their Best Dance Recording victory for “Don’t Let Me Down (Feat. Daya).”
