Before he was Skrillex, Sonny Moore was the front man for post hardcore rockers From First to Last. Since then he’s changed his sound and his genre, but he’s always remained a punk rock outcast at heart. Sonny recently reunited with his punk brethren for a new track “Make War” released last month that stirred a bit of controversy for its derivative artwork.
With a new song on the book, it was only a matter of time before we saw the old gang back together live. It’s been 11 years since the band has performed together and they broke their silence last night at Emo Night in Los Angeles.
Could this be the start of a reunion tour? That’s open to debate. But one thing is for certain. Sonny has not lost his ability to scream his lungs out.
