While 2016 was the year Callie Reiff made her name known in the bass community, 2017 is slated to be the year she truly shakes thing up in the industry. The 17-year-old, NYC-based starlet ended last year with an EP on Fool’s Gold, a hefty series of remixes, and a mix for our Radar series.
Returning to the release grind just in time for spring, Callie Reiff makes the statement she is not playing around with her new bass hybrid single, “Stimulate.” Originally teased in her Radar mix, “Stimulate” begins with an eerie arrangement of synths and building percussion before Reiff unloads a barrage of clamoring horns and wall-shaking 808s.
