Calvin Harris is collaborating with Ariana Grande, Pharrell and Young Thug
Calvin Harris is no stranger to melding pop with dance music. The Scottish producer first began putting his name on the map after working with Kelis back during EDM’s initial explosion, thereafter ascending to full-on superstar status after booking Rihanna for his iconic single, “We Found Love.”
2017 is looking to be Harris’ most high-profile year to date, however. First, the artist presented fans with “Slide,” his Frank Ocean/Migos collaboration which naturally became an instant hit. Now, we see a new collaborative hit on the verge of release by Harris: “Heatstroke.” For the producer’s forthcoming hit, Ariana Grande will be assisting with vocal duties, while the Young Thug will be lending some fiery verses into the mix.
Meanwhile, Pharrell rounds out the list of all-star collaborators, making for a song that will probably be a widely-discussed topic despite not having yet graced the public’s ears. Harris has not announced the expected release date, but given the fact he’s already announced its existence over Twitter, it’s likely to be available in the near future.
