Once a year, the dance music community flocks to Miami for one of the most significant gatherings in the industry: Miami Music Week. These are the seven exalted days that set the tone for the remainder of the year.

From pool parties, to techno cruises, and all-night club showcases, Miami Music Week offers a staggering amount of options for dance fans of any genre. As the venerated gathering approaches, we’ve broken down the must-see parties to help ease the decision-making process.

Tale of Us

Who: Tale of Us, Vaal

Why you should care: After last year’s hiatus from Miami Music Week, Tale of Us are slated to grace Trade with an aural experience that sets itself apart from the rest. Poised to set off South Beach with dark and enchanting house and techno, an intimate set from Carm and Matteo Milleri is a rarity and a true spectacle.

Corona Electric Beach presents: Chromeo

Why you should care: Following last year’s iteration of Do Not Sit By the Ocean, the praised South Beach club is heading to Wynwood for a fresh new take: Do Not Sit in Wynwood. Featuring a cutting-edge roster of house and techno titans like Atish, YokoO and head honcho Behrouz, Do Not Sit in Wynwood reigns supreme as one of this year’s more unique showcases.

Deadbeats Goes Off The Deep End

Why you should care: Bassheads may fall out of their chairs after seeing what Deadbeats Goes Off The Deep End has in store for their Miami showcase. Zeds Dead and Jauz have teamed up for a co-hosted event, offering up exclusive back-to-back sets between some of bass music’s top talent including both of the events’ hosts, Herobust, Troyboi, Ghastly, Mija, and more.

Gud Vibrations

Why you should care: The best in bass music are shaking up Mana Garage. This is going to be a master class in heavy handed bass music from Slander, NGHTMRE, Ghastly and more. If there was a royal court of all things LA bass related, everyone on this lineup would be fighting for the throne. PL0T's 10-Year Anniversary Series

Why you should care: Though not an official Miami Music Week party, PL0T’s 10-year anniversary is more than deserving of an honorable mention. Buygore x Trippy Burger Showcase

Why you should care: Last year, the Buygore family took over The National in South Beach with their epic sold out pool party during the flagship Miami Winter Music Conference in March. This year, the face-melting bass squad will be returning to the Magic City with label heavyweight Getter and his brand/merchandise line ‘Trippy Burger’ in tow. In addition to sets from frontmen Borgore and Getter, the two imprints will be hosting throngs of cohorts to throw a one-of-a-kind rager with secret guests all night long.
