Halsey announces sophomore full length album

Last year was a meteoric year for Halsey. The “Closer” vocalist performed her chart-dominating collaboration with The Chainsmokers live at a number of high-profile events last year, from Bonnaroo to the VMA’s. She linked up with the likes of Skrillex, Justin Bieber, and Lido in the studio during 2016, and moving into this year, she’s already partnered with Zedd on his ACLU benefit show along with Tinashe, Imagine Dragons, and more. She’s keeping the momentum high in 2017 by officially announcing her sophomore full-length LP due later this year.

Now Halsey’s has unveiled the title for introductory album, hopeless fountain kingdom. Set to land in June via Astralwerks, specifics on the date or album’s roll-out plan still remain under wraps. The record is likely to toe the line between dance and pop, a territory Halsey has come to dominate since her emergence. hopeless fountain kingdom is also likely to feature a few star-powered cameos as well, to mention nothing of what will likely be diverse production talent. With all the momentum behind her, Halsey has set high expectations for her follow up to 2015’s Badlands —just in time to get into your summer rotation.
