Jai Wolf releases ‘Like It’s Over’ remix EP

Jai Wolf enlists emerging talent Party Pupils, Howle and Ramzoid for official remixes of “Like It’s Over,” one of the most streamed tracks off recent Kindred Spirits EP.

Fresh off an explosive year following the release of Kindred Spirits, Jai Wolf carefully selects three artists who celebrate “Like It’s Over” with unique reinventions.

First up is a summer ready rendition from rising duo Party Pupils. Atop playful snares, a high adrenalin drop floats into wavy synths on the remix. The duo champions remixes of many genres; their take on Outkast’s “Ms. Jackson” currently clocks in at over 2.6 million Soundcloud streams.

Next, Sydney based producer Howle slows things down a bit with a chillwave take on the track. Twangs of melancholy guide the lyrics on Howle’s version, lulling the listener into relaxation with minimal production. “Like It’s Over” is only the second remix posted to Howle’s Soundcloud, and he immediately captures hearts with this stripped back rework.

Last but certainly not least, Canadian producer Ramzoid wraps up the remix EP with a rumbling approach to “Like It’s Over.” Melodic sounds dance over gnawing bass, where Ramzoid expertly layers texture on texture of sound.
