Manic Focus – Stronger feat. Late Night Radio, Jennifer Hartswick, & Adam Deitch

As electronic music continues to grow and diversify, one of the most exciting developments is the proliferation of funk and soul inspired tracks from a range of producers. One of the earliest to experiment with the sound, Manic Focus, has reemerged after two years with the first single from his upcoming fifth album Minds Rising.

Entitled “Stronger,” the track is a collaboration between the Chicago-based producer and vocalist and trumpeter Jennifer Hartswick, Late Night Radio, and Adam Deitch of Break Science and Lettuce. Employing an infectious, leaning backbeat, Manic Focus’ confidence in the production is inherently obvious, opting to leave ample room for vocal chops, basses, guitar, and synths lines to breath and play off each other. “Stronger” also displays deeply considered arrangement decisions, portending good things to come on Minds Rising.

“Stronger” is available to stream below with Minds Rising releasing in full on April 21.
