The Radar 78: Mixed by Luca Schreiner
German export Luca Schreiner has been steadily bubbling over online for a few months thanks to his remixes of Alessia Cara, Matoma, Shaggy, Era Istrefi, and more. Most recently signing to Ultra Records, the Stuggart-based producer has been stationed in Europe developing his own accessible house-based style.
However, he made his way across the pond a few weeks ago for his first US gig at NYC’s Marquee Nightclub, and with an upward trajectory ahead of him, it felt necessary to have Schreiner introduce his artist project on The Radar with his own hour-long, musical mosaic. Suitable for any time from the start of the weekend night until the very end, Luca Schreiner expertly balances familiar top-lines and melodies with new age production using cuts from Throttle, CID, Loud Luxury, and his own studio vault.
