Ultra announces new lineup additions and schedule changes

In its final scheduling phase with the festival just days away, Ultra has subtly inserted three new names onto its Miami artist roster which were swiftly picked up by the Reddit community. Bag Raiders, whose infectious single “Shooting Stars” from 2010 led to the group becoming the subjects of a viral meme seven years later, will now be gracing the festival with what’s likely to be a groovy set filled with retro influence and indie electronica.

The most puzzling new name to appear on the Ultra lineup undoubtedly goes to Slipknot member Sid Wilson, whose primary role in the death metal band is turn-tabling and keyboards. He most certainly possesses skill to work the decks, but fans are naturally curious as to what type of music they’ll be hearing from him during his debut gig at an EDM festival.

A$AP Ferg rounds out the brief list of last-minute additions to Ultra’s lineup. Given his traction in the hip-hop community, his presence will be widely appreciated by those who prefer a bit of creative lyrics infused into their bass.

Redditors also noted that now Justice’s set on the Live stage will commence at 10pm on Sunday, meaning their set time has now increased to a full hour. Lastly, they called attention to a few changes on the Resistance lineup including a “special guest” on Sunday which will of course be disclosed on the day of the set.
