D.R.A.M. – Broccoli (Feat. Lil Yachty) [Chet Porter Remix]

With upcoming performances at Electric Forest and What The Festival, Toronto native Chet Porter has kicked off 2017 with a running start. For his latest release, Porter takes on D.R.A.M.‘s Grammy-nominated megahit “Broccoli” featuring Lil Yachty in this jaunty remix as a follow up to his chart-topping original “Stay”.

Chet Porter on his remix of “Broccoli”:

“Anyone who’s come to see me live in the last 6 months has heard me play it out. I actually did this remix a really long time ago, I think like September? The original is just such a hit. D.R.A.M. has this amazing, charming voice and Lil Yachty is so goofy and fun. I love them both – they’re a perfect combo. It’s like the happiest song ever, but then it has the hardest 808 I’ve ever heard. I just felt like I had to put my own spin on it and luckily they were down.”

While Chet may not be the first artist to merge dance music and hip hop, the 24 year old producer crafts an exceptional cut of D.R.A.M.’s original by infusing bright bells coupled with a tropical vibe. Stream Chet Porter’s remix for “Broccoli” below.
