Gorillaz are a force to be reckoned with as they prepare to releasing their fourth album, Humanz. Earlier this morning, April 17, the group announced they will be embarking on tour this upcoming summer. The virtual band, led by Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett, have been incredibly active in recent months, releasing numerous tracks from Humanz — complemented by a remix package — and announcing various other Gorillaz-related projects.
Tour takes off in the beginning of July, spanning until the middle of October. Included in the major city stops are a few notable festival appearances. Tickets for the North American leg of tour go on sale this Friday, April 21.
