Martin Garrix previews new ID and shares stage with Dua Lipa for live performance at Coachella

With a draw of over 100,000 attendees, Coachella serves as a hot spot for producers to tease fans with unreleased music and impromptu collaborations. Artists like Steve Angello and Lady Gaga have been dropping new music at Coachella over the weekend. Not to be outdone, world renown superstar Martin Garrix decided to unleash a brand new track. he Dutch producer previewed his most recent creation–an ID that unsurprisingly shows off his true artistry once again. The song begins with a charming piano melody joined quickly by synths and percussion. Each layer then builds until the drop, which turns the main piano melody completely electronic.

After previewing his latest ID, Martin Garrix then brought out Dua Lipa for a live performance of “Scared to be Lonely.” The video shows the two on stage at Coachella, and although it’s low quality, the two clearly captivate the audience with their performance together. By previewing his latest ID, and bringing Dua Lipa along for the ride, Martin Garrix has outdone himself once again, and left fans anxiously awaiting what’s to come from the young producer.
