OTR – Already Gone (feat. Kelsie Rimmer)

Rising producer OTR has yet to become a household name, but his talent may soon change that. The rising producer’s only official remix to date – one of Mickey Valen’s “Meet Me” – was backed on Lowly Palace, and has garnered an impressive 1.5 million streams. OTR comes as a shining new talent that future bass fans should put on their radars.

OTR, real name Ryan Chadwick, has now teamed up with The Voice Australia contestant Kelsie Rimmer on his debut single, “Already Gone.” The track is an enchanting future bass ballad, showcasing Rimmer’s angelic vocals and nostalgic lyrics penned by the singer herself. Combining heavily pounding drums and snare kicks with a subtly off-beat bass line, “Already Gone” builds slowly into a captivating, emotional journey with euphoric breakdowns that capture the future bass style of Illenium.

Concerning the song’s original construction, Chadwick tells Dancing Astronaut:

“Most of my style is drawn from classical organic elements really. I love combining piano with sounds that you’d just hear in everyday life. When I wrote Already Gone, Illenium was a great influence however I love how Odesza and Petit Biscuit set the stage with their organic elements.”
