Panorama introduces new shaded techno oasis ‘The Point’

Gearing up for its second year at Randall’s Island Park in New York from July 28th-30th, Panorama Festival – created by Goldenvoice – will support a star-studded roster ranging from pop to electronic to indie rock. With names like Frank Ocean, Solange, MGMT, Tame Impala, and Alt-J catering to the diverse musical palettes of every attendee, the event has revealed a new listing that is sure to excite the city’s house and techno-centric crowd.

The festival recently announced its newest installation titled ‘The Point’ that will act as a shaded oasis for a tasteful roster of underground electronic talent. Artists like Theo Parrish, Motor City Drum Ensemble, and Derrick Carter will be headlining the 3-day feature which is fully equipped with a flawless Funktion One sound system. One of the more eclectic offerings of the weekend, ‘The Point’ will be the place to be for a colorful spectacle of avant-garde stage design and four-on-the-floor rhythms.
