Premiere: Kora joins Sol Selectas with ‘Caddo’
Kora has been causing quite a stir in the the underground over the past few months. Since launching his project at the tail end of 2016, the Montreal artist has already found a home on Get Physical’s renowned Kindisch imprint as well as blossoming new label Earthly Delights.
For his latest release, Kora joins Sol Selectas — a natural fit for his organic, spiritually-inclined creations. Kora brings new EP Caddo to the label with two originals and a remix from Powel.
The title track, “Caddo,” which Dancing Astronaut has the privilege of premiering, continues Kora’s mystic aesthetic, channeling the energy of Southeastern Native American tribes. The song utilizes natural percussion, wind instruments, and Native American chants to create an immersive world that one can’t help but get lost in.
