A-Trak returns to the Beats 1 airwaves with brand new ‘Fool’s Gold Radio’ residency

For the past decade, A-Trak has incontrovertibly stood as one of dance music’s most influential tastemakers. In celebration of the 10-year anniversary of his renowned Fool’s Gold Records imprint in 2017, A-Trak is rejoining the Beats 1 lineup on Apple Music with a brand new residency called Fool’s Gold Radio. Following last year’s Day Off Radio, the  brand new open format radio show will pair the selector with signees on his label, rappers, producers, DJs, and influencers, covering label news, interviews, and of course, some stellar mixes are surely underway.

A-Trak describes the new variety series, noting the following:

“DJs are in the best position to guide where the culture is going. And that’s the purpose of this radio show: to shine a light on the best new music and art, and share opportunities with today’s creative generation.”

The first episode of the new show features an interview with Florida rhymer Denzel Curry, along with new music from SahBabii, Sam Gellaitry, Herzeloyde, Leaf, Joakim and more. Given the impeccable knack for curation which A-Trak has shown over the years, it’s good having him back on the airwaves once again.
