Diplo becomes the next DJ with a dual career as male model
Celebrities taking on modeling gigs is quite commonplace in the contemporary art sphere. Athletes, actors, and singers frequently take on modeling gigs, many signing onto ad campaigns with popular brands where both parties win in the end. Calvin Harris, for example, became one of the first superstar DJs to enter the modeling world with his contracts with Calvin Klein and Armani.
Now, Diplo will become the next EDM icon to join the modeling ranks, assimilating to the Next Model Management family. He’s certainly in good hands; famous names on the roster include Kate Upton, Anna Clevland, and more. It will be quite intriguing to see what sorts of shoots the Major Lazer frontman will be involved in moving forward.
