Diplo’s ‘Bankroll’ has vanished from SoundCloud
After a series of retweets from fans saying how terrible his latest song, “Bankroll,” was, Diplo made his latest track disappear from the internet faster than the average person twerks at his shows. Released May 11 on Mad Decent, the song featured Young Thug, Rich the Kid, and Justin Bieber, who took a stab at rapping on the ensemble track. Following its release, the song generated mixed reviews, with some Twitter users going so far as to deem it “the worst song of the year.”

Following its critical reception, it appears that Diplo has removed the song from his SoundCloud. Though there isn’t a confirmed correlation between the song’s response with its swift deletion, it’s worth noting that Diplo has retweeted a number of negative reactions on his official account.
Whatever the circumstances are surrounding the removal of “Bank Roll,” Diplo’s newest mega-collaboration has disappeared as abruptly as it arose. Only time will tell whether or not the year’s most ephemeral track will re-emerge in the future.
