Coloradoan producer Illenium has been making a name for himself over the past few years with his innovative style of melodic beats, massive collaborations and his debut album, Ashes. This summer, he seems to be on almost every major festival lineup, with stops at Bonnaroo, Electric Forest, EDC, Firefly, and more. In preparation for this ambitious set of summer dates, he’s been releasing new music and even took the time to do an AMA on Reddit. Here are eight things we learned from his Q&A session on May 9.
1. He started producing five years ago in GarageBand after he saw Bassnectar at Red Rocks.
