On May 4, Excision revealed that he would be putting on his own festival in September 2017 in a response to a fan on Twitter. The announcement came as perhaps his biggest news to date, particularly in light of his recent Paradox tour, which was widely lauded by the bass music community for its engaging visuals.

Today, May 8, the Canadian producer revealed that his festival will be held over the weekend of September 29 – October 1 by posting a picture in the style of a cave painting to his Twitter account alongside the caption “Save the date!” The image features a tyrannosaurus rex (iconography closely associated with the artist) DJing before a crowd with the dates etched underneath.

At press time, no location has been revealed for the impending festival.
