Frank Ocean cancels third festival appearance this year
“Production issues” have evidently been a recent bane to Frank Ocean’s existence. Once more, the artist has announced a newly-canceled appearance – this time, Primavera Sound in Barcelona.
The festival becomes the third in a string of cancellations in a relatively short span of time, the first two being Sasquatch! and Hangout. He was replaced by LCD Soundsystem and Phoenix, respectively. Primavera Sound has yet to announce who will be taking over Ocean’s slot come the first weekend of June.
Having recently released his albums Blonde and Endless, in addition to a slate of new singles including the instant hit “Slide” with Calvin Harris, Frank Ocean has been quite visible on the public radar. He’s expressed his sorrow to fans for the missed performances, pledging to return once all is in order.
