As we inch closer to the commencement of FORM Arcosanti‘s fourth edition in Arizona’s high desert, the event’s architects, OWSLA‘s Hundred Waters, have shared a brand new piece from their impending third studio album. The new single, titled “Particle,” blends together the band’s quintessential sonic qualities, setting lead singer Nicole Miglis’ captivating vocals before a pensive, introspective melody. The tune’s poignant, moving textures perfectly exemplify Hundred Waters’ distinguished blend of electronic, folk, and indie rock elements, but still manages to highlight an evident vulnerability, outside of the group’s typical comfort zone.

Reflective of Hundred Waters’ shifting dynamic, “Particle” is representative of the band’s maturation process in the three years they’ve spent recording their forthcoming studio LP. And while the new Skrillex-produced single isn’t a staunch departure from the aesthetic of 2014’s Moon Rang Like A Bell, “Particle” signals to a re-emergence of sorts for Hundred Waters on their upcoming record.

FORM Arcosanti kicks off its fourth installment this weekend, where the group will perform additional pieces from their new album live for the first time.
