K?d has continued his respectable run of 2017 releases, this time teaming up with talented musician and composer Varien for an otherworldly bass track, “Catherine.”

The collaboration is perfectly summed up by its artwork: dark, moody, and borderline creepy. Just how deep does this duo dare to go? The answer: incredibly deep. The bass on “Catherine” is pounding, with short breaks to highlight a haunting, lingering melody. One Soundcloud user called it “the collab of gods,” and it’s a pretty spot-on description.
