Australia has regularly been a hub for delivering some of future and bass music’s most innovative talents with established names like Flume, Alison Wonderland, and Knife Party all stemming from the country. Leaning more in the indie-alternative end of the dance world, The Kite String Tangle is best known for his vocal appearance on Adventure Club’s “Wonder.”

However, his solo project has been budding since then with left-of-center fans and the Brisbane talent recently announced a forthcoming album, of which he just released the second single, “The Prize.” Accompanied by Bridgette Amofah for a vocal duet, The Kite String Tangle begins the track with a house-based drum pattern before breaking down into a half-time assortment of wavering synths and chaotic yet cheery percussion with a splash of summertime funk.
