MGMT tease new album

Though they have plenty of festival plans this summer, MGMT hasn’t put out any new music since 2013. However, the rumors of a 2017 comeback seem to be true, as the band took to social media to announce the title of their upcoming album, Little Dark Age.

The album has been in the works for years. In an interview with HitFix in 2015, Will Berman, who’s part of the live show, said the group had been “taking a little break.”

“We’ve been at it for years at this point,” he said. “There’s more to come.”

Two years later, the world is finally be getting more MGMT. On May 7, the band posted a clip on social media outlets that contains “making of” snippets from the new album.

“We want you to be excited,” the band said in the post.

Oh, we are.
