Spinnin’ Records taps into classic cumbia vibes on sexy new single ‘La Colegiala’

Spinnin’ Records have tapped into the Latin influences currently dominating the dance circuit with their latest release, “La Colegiala,” from The Boy Next Door and Fresh Coast. The invigorating track features Dutch-Colombian vocalist Jody Bernal who has made a name for himself with his cultural mash ups.

Together, the producers have turned a 1980 cumbia track of the same name  into a hot, dirty summer dance floor heater full of moombahton and latin dancehall vibes.

“I know this track from my childhood. It brings back some amazing memories. The Boy Next Door and Fresh Coast sent me this track and told me that they were looking for a Spanish vocalist. When I saw the name of the song ‘La Colegiala’, I immediately got goosebumps all over,” said Jody Bernal in a press release.  “When I heard the first eight seconds, I was blown away! So, hopefully we will give you some amazing memories with our new version of ‘La Colegiala’!”

“La Colegiala” is out now via Spinnin’ Records.
