Luca Lush delivers a bass heavy remix of M83’s iconic ‘Midnight City’

Luca Lush’s diverse production style has helped him establish quite a reputation for himself on social media and music streaming websites. Known for his experimenting with a number of styles, a major contributing factor to his recent fame is his ‘Luca Lush Lift’ series of bootlegs- a series which has seen the producer remix Flux Pavilion and What So Not in the past.

The latest addition to this series of remixes is M83’s iconic single, “Midnight City.” The producer samples the catchy hook of the original, but has extensively altered various other elements of the track, giving it a completely different identity.

As he has with most of his songs in the past, Luca Lush fuses together various different bass music sounds, ranging from high pitched, melodious Future Bass sounds to deep, dark trap. While Luca’s rendition is a stark deviation from M83’s original, it is a perfectly capable free-standing track in itself.
