Premiere: Masaya – Picture (Petar Dundov Variation)
Masaya is the latest talent to join Chapter 24’s esteemed cast of producers. The Swiss Chilean talent delivered her album, Picking Up The Pieces, for the imprint in March, melding hypnotic drum grooves with beautiful atmospherics for a stunning 13-track debut on the label.
Now Picking Up the Pieces has received an impressive second life in the form of an official Editions version, featuring remixes and revisions from artists like Ripperton, Petar Dundov, Patrice Baumel, and Johannes Brecht. Dancing Astronaut has the pleasure of premiering Petar Dundov’s mellifluous spin on “Picture,” painting a lush soundscape of twinkling synths and smooth percussion spread across a pleasant 7-minute arrangement.
