Mat Zo shares new music under drum & bass alias, MRSA
It’s a big day for drum & bass fans everywhere as Matan Zohar, best known as Mat Zo, has given life back to his dormant drum & bass project, MRSA. The British producer made his drum & bass debut back when Hospital Records signed his first official track, “Different,” to their Sick Music compilation in 2009 and not much activity has occurred since that era. Today, MRSA has unleashed the neurofunk beast that is “Bio Weapon” available to stream via the UKF Drum & Bass YouTube channel.
“Bio Weapon” delivers a high-intensity rush of power that takes listeners through an apocalyptic frenzy of drum & bass. Zohar showcases his heavier side with relentless layered drum hits, consistent razor-sharp bass stabs, all tied together with the looping and choppy “infection” vocal sample. “Bio Weapon” will be available for purchase on July 7 via Noisia’s Invisible Recordings imprint and you can pre-order MRSA’s new track featured on the imprint’s forthcoming Solids EP here.
