Spotify partners with Facebook Messenger for easy group playlists
The ability to create the perfect playlist is not a skill many people possess. But if enough people come together to collaborate on the effort, the perfect playlist can be achieved.
To help the music and party communities in their unyielding effort Spotify has partnered with Facebook Messenger to help its users bring their diverse music tastes together and meet everyone’s playlist needs.
The new feature, called Group Playlists for Messenger, combines the best of Spotify and Facebook Messenger together so users can curate and listen to group playlists.
“Ideal for parties, road trips, or simply collecting new favorites, Group Playlists provide a seamless way for users to collaborate and share music more easily than ever before,” the company said of the new feature.
In Facebook Messenger, users can click on “+” button to open Spotify, where they can create a playlist and add songs. From there, they’re able to easily share it with friends, who can access and add to it.
