Stream Bonobo’s tribal ‘Bambro Koyo Ganda’ EP

2017 has been a busy year for Simon Green. In January, he released Migration, his first Bonobo album in four years and sixth overall. Since the release of his full length offering, Green has provided an official remix for Gorillaz, collaborated with Nick Murphy, and performed coveted sets at festivals such as Coachella and Lightning in a Bottle

Today, June 5, Green adds a new EP, Bambro Koyo Ganda, to his résumé. Bonobo’s new three-track effort is led by the titular collaboration with Moroccan gnawa group Innov Gnawa, which initially appeared as part of Migration. The extended player also includes an analog version of “Bambro Koyo Ganda,” which takes on a more progressive and, perhaps, even more mesmerizing disposition than its predecessor. Bonobo completes the record with a new composition, “Samurai,” in which he explores the extent of his keen talent for producing mystifyingly mellifluous music.
