Zanerobe taps Jesse Rose for first edition of new ‘Mavericks + Mentors’ series

Jesse Rose, a producer hailing from London, told all in the first episode of Zanerobe’s new MAVERICKS + MENTORS YouTube series. Rose revealed that he will be collaborating with the fashion-forward clothing retailer whose pieces are sold through their own site and big-name stores like Nordstrom and Revolve. The line will be launching in the upcoming months.

The UK producer went into detail about his start in the music industry and what has helped him grow to become the man he is today. Rose began DJ’ing at the ripe age of 14, beginning his first record label at age 21. He’s held five labels, and now his main focus is helping others begin and grow their careers. Later revealing his biggest influences come from house music and some drum and bass that took place in his hometown in the hood of West London. Rose credits Jamie Anderson and Switch for making him become a producer.

“The best advice I can to anyone who’s trying to get some music, DJ’ing, business, whatever it is, the absolute best advice I can give is don’t be a dick.

2017 will be Jesse Rose’s last year DJing. He hopes to travel across the globe, playing his final shows, many of which will be back to backs. In the works are collaborations with Cassius and companies like Nike. This year, Rose will release his final album ahead of his retirement.
