AlunaGeorge explore two sides to love on their new releases. Out this week, the pop-leaning “Turn Up The Love” compliments last week’s downtempo offering “Last Kiss.” While the former mirrors the tropical, feel-good energy of DJ Snake‘s immensely popular remix of their 2013 track “You Know You Like It,” the latter slows things down a bit and reflect on love lost. The two new tracks serve as the London duo’s first releases since their sophomore album I Remember, out last fall.

Aluna Francis, the duo’s vocalist, shares the following on the two new tunes:

“The creative concept is to release two tracks, one upbeat song and one ballad, to symbolise ‘light and shade’ and highlight the duality of both songs.”

Francis and the duo’s producer, George Reid, spent the end of last year as an opener on Sia‘s Nostalgic for the Present tour. This summer, the pair support Coldplay on a string of North American tour dates.
