Atari’s new “speaker hat” is potentially the most obnoxious invention ever
A baseball cap with speakers in it. Who would’ve thought? Well, Atari did! Yes, Atari, the video game company.
Atari’s website states that it comes packed with “high-fidelity stereo speakers and a microphone that can connect instantly to any Bluetooth-enabled device, including smartphones, tablets, or personal computers.”
To further this revolutionary fashion technology, it comes with “Multiplayer Mode.” Multiplayer Mode is powered by Audiowear and combined with Social Synchronous Broadcast technology. “[It] will allow multiple Speakerhat users to simultaneously listen to a single audio stream in perfect synchronization,” states Atari.
It’s designed to be ultra-thin and lightweight and will also be able to receive phone calls and understand voice commands.
