Australian four-piece Cut Copy releases new disco track “Airborne,” out now via Astralwerks. The Melbourne-based group generated buzz about their first official single since 2014 on Twitter and with a collection of their work in a new Greatest Hits Spotify playlist. The new track was recorded with Ben Allen (Deerhunter, Animal Collective) whose psychedelic touch pushes Cut Copy’s sound in a new direction. Where the group’s last offering January Tape is ambient and understated, the new track is nostalgic with groovy guitar-riffs and driving percussion.

Cut Copy is taking their live instrumentation around the world in the coming months, with a string of dates in Australia lined up before heading to America and Puerto Rico.
