Dillon Francis’ ‘Say Less’ music video serves up major plot twist
The title “Say Less” appears an oxymoron when it comes to the release of the Dillon Francis‘ latest music video, a rowdy visual chronicle of an evening out that in turn leaves much to be said about the hilarity of the video’s production.
When the track was originally released in April — garnering 13 million streams in the time since its release — “Say Less” earned the distinction of being the first official release on Dillon Francis’ record label, “IDGAFOS.”
The release of the music video marks a mini milestone for Francis and video director, Tomas Whitmore, “This is my fifth video with Tomas and I feel like each one keeps getting better and better,” mused Francis.
G-Eazy noted the collaborators’ joint desire to create a music video for the track with a distinctly “cinematic feel” to it, a goal certainly achieved by the video, that in typical Francis style, involves an unforeseen concluding plot twist. That Australian actor, Luke Hemsworth, makes a guest appearance only augments the video’s cinematic quality.
